Look at all these newbies running amuck like it's a day at the circus. They've got it easier than us. The regime change has helped, maybe, but they're going to screw everything up way more than a new Summoned would, and who's going to suffer? Us.
How many of the usual suspects are still here? Istredd's gone, Kyle's gone, Wilhelm's gone, Mat's gone, I think Thing 1 and Thing 2 are gone.

They gotta have a functioning castle to come back to.
( Being, like, sixth in line in the unofficial seniority-and-responsibility hierarchy meant he never thought he'd have to worry about stepping up like this. Unfortunately, he's kind of had this whole deliberate character growth arc of wanting to be more proactively involved in protecting the other Summoned on a bigger scale.
He just didn't ever plan on doing it with fucking Lucifer. )
Even if they are, it's not like they can really help us keep a handle on things here at the castle.
( He'll find out, not so much for Lucifer but rather because he's got his own personal relationships with a few of them, and he's worried. That's an issue for later, though. )
So what do you think we should do? Make, like, a PSA or print some pamphlets? I feel like this is something Istredd would call some kind of meeting for, but I don't really think I have the authority for that kind of power move.
