Jack's primary hobby aside from reading is writing — mainly, recounting interesting events he's part of, or that he's been a witness to. In Abraxas, this takes the form of Jack writing Penny Dreadful-style novels which are generally retellings of game events from his own unreliable narrator perspective. The style is largely comedic but also greatly inspired by the creepypasta genre. To preserve the privacy of his fellow Summoned, he's made an effort to change the names (and occasionally the physical descriptions) of the people who play a part in these stories. Even with that in mind, I would like to make sure every character featured is only mentioned with the permission of their players! Istredd has been featured in the novel Tales from the Pit, under the pseudonym Isaac. He is portrayed in a flattering, more serious light. He is not a main character, but is featured prominently enough that Istredd will be able to recognize himself and his contributions to the summoned survival in the pit.

Kyle has been featured in the novel Tales from the Pit, under the pseudonym Kiran. He is portrayed in a flattering light, similar to a handsome action protag hero. A recounting of their mental conversation was adapted to be a form of telepathy, and his rescue of Jack in the mountains is a major part of the climax of the book. It's clear from the subtext that Jack has a healthy admiration for Kyle, and an appreciation for their friendship.

Sabine has been featured in the novel Tales from the Pit. She was not given a pseudonym. She does not play a prominent role, but was mentioned briefly in passing in a remorseful, longing tone.

Lucifer has been featured in the novel Tales from the Pit, under the pseudonym Stan. He is depicted in an unflattering light that can generally be summed up as "smarmy dick". He does not play a prominent role.

Good news, he is so absolutely romantically oblivious he will never even realize Wilhelm is dating, much less who. 👍

Wilhelm has been featured as a minor character in the novella: Tales from the Pit, under the pseudonym Billy. (It's short for Bilhelm, but that didn't make it into the text.) It might be hard to figure out that's who Billy is meant to be, as the descriptions have been sparing for this character so far. Stay tuned for future novels.

Yennefer has been featured in the novel Tales from the Pit, under the pseudonym Jenna. She is mentioned in passing and does not play a prominent role in this particular novel, but is depicted as a mentor to Jack. The subtext surrounding her is flattering, and demonstrates that he has a healthy respect for (and maybe mild fear of) her.

A quote from the text includes, "She carries a gravity that could make you slit your own throat for wasting her time, and then apologize to her for bleeding on her dress."
